Safely inside Lebanon but without a home and basic necessities

The numbers of Syrian Refugees are growing in an incredible way so are the resources exhausted to assist them. The cost of living in Lebanon is way higher than in Syria. Due to the influx of refugees the rental prices for houses are soaring. For the 500,000 un-registered refugees, life is a struggle, living in garage spaces, under construction houses, mosques, schools and makeshifts without basic necessities. It is not uncommon for large family groups of up to 20 people to live in just two to three rooms.

In Katarmayer, Mount Lebanon, 20 families are living in a Mosque without much hope of access to basic necessities for living and livelihood opportunities.

The villages and cities in Bekaa Valley, south Lebanon and Mount Lebanon, the masjids, schools, and under-construction houses, are crowded with refugee families. They worry about how they will pay for food and heat, with most unable to find work, and worry about the health of their children, with many getting colds and bronchial infections.

With your support Muslim Charity can continue helping them, please donate £150 to provide protection and a roof to Syrian refugee families in Lebanon.
