Be Their Warmth This Winter

Winter is more than a season, it’s a test of survival for millions of families across the globe. For those already living in poverty, the freezing temperatures make life unbearable. Struggling with insufficient shelter, hunger and hopelessness, these families face unimaginable hardships as the cold tightens its grip.

Climate change has intensified this crisis. Harsher winters, freak weather patterns, and increasing natural disasters are pushing already vulnerable communities closer to the brink. But this winter, you can make a difference. Your support can provide the warmth, safety and hope vulnerable families so desperately need.

In the Middle East, millions of people displaced by war and violence are braving the freezing cold with nothing. In Gaza, over 1.9 million people are affected having lost their homes and left without warm clothing, food, heating or proper shelter. 

Refugee families in Turkey are facing similar conditions, struggling to survive the icy winds of winter.

Communities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal lack even the basics to protect themselves from the cold. Children shiver through the night without blankets, and parents go hungry, sacrificing their own well-being to keep their loved ones warm.

In Yemen, winter brings a daily battle for survival. Without food, heating, or shelter, these families are left to face impossible odds. But with your support, this year can be different.

Together, we can bring warmth and hope to those who need it most.

MUSLIM CHARITY
INTERVENTION

At Muslim Charity, we work tirelessly every winter to ensure no family is left behind in the cold. Your donations brought warmth, food and hope to families who would have otherwise suffered through the harsh winter months.

Last year, with your incredible support, we helped over 20,882 people across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Turkey, Gaza, and right here at home in the UK.

In Yemen alone, 2,500 beneficiaries received winter kits and food packs, while in Bangladesh, 10,500 individuals were supported with winter essentials. Refugee families in Turkey were aided with food and winter kits benefiting 1,004 people, and in Pakistan, 4,860 beneficiaries received critical winter support.

In the UK, our volunteers provided hot meals to the homeless, and ensured a warm blanket for many in need. Through these efforts, Muslim Charity turned your generosity into warmth, safety and sustenance for those battling the cold.

This year, we are determined to reach even more vulnerable communities. Your donations will allow us to deliver life-saving aid, including warm clothing like jackets, shawls, socks and hats; blankets and mattresses for warmth, heating supplies like fuel and heaters; and food packs filled with essential, nutritious staples to sustain families through the toughest months.

In the UK, we will continue providing sleeping bags, hygiene kits, and warm food and drinks to the homeless, ensuring that no one is left to face winter alone. Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: "Whoever saves one life, it is as if they have saved all of humanity." (Qur’an, 5:32)
