Rapid response to an emergency is a matter of life and death and with your help we can provide immediate access to those in need.

In the times of a crisis, we know that by dialling the emergency services an ambulance will be with us in minutes no matter where we are. Timely provision of care is truly a matter of life and death, without it events can quickly escalate but survival rates increase significantly with every second earlier a patient receives care.

For many families and communities around the world, access to healthcare can be hours away.

Many are forced to walk for many miles to get to their nearest doctor or attempt to use unreliable transport to move the patient; which can lead to even more harm for them.

This is particularly harmful for women who go into labour. This is a particularly dangerous time as pregnant women are more susceptible to illness and in many cases lack of immediate care leads to death.

MUSLIM CHARITY
INTERVENTION

Here at Muslim Charity, we have been able to provide 33 ambulances in countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh and Somalia which has been able to help over 25,000 patients. Each ambulance is fully equipped and comes with ventilation equipment, fixed and portable oxygen apparatus, obstetrical kit, immobilisation devices (such as wheelchairs and stretchers), bandages and emergency kits as well as the standard equipment needed for a trained paramedic.

This is a vital piece of equipment needed to provide fast and effective treatment to patients, but it does not come cheap. Each ambulance costs £12,000 to purchase and equip to World Health Organisation (WHO) standards so we desperately need your help so we can help even more hospitals.

Last year, we sent 4 ambulances to support local hospitals and to serve those in remote locations, one ambulance in India and three in Pakistan. Donate today and help us save the lives of even more people.
