EMERGENCY

Gaza is going through a severe crisis. Hospitals are struggling to treat the many injured people and the number of deaths is rising every day.

Since October 7th, more than 61,700 Palestinians have been killed, including 17,492 children. Over 111,588 people have been injured, and thousands are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings. Gaza’s infrastructure is on the brink of collapse. Homes, schools and hospitals have been devastated, with more than half of Gaza’s homes either damaged or destroyed.

The healthcare system is struggling to cope, with many hospitals barely functioning due to shortages of supplies, electricity and water. Food and clean water are scarce, leaving families without the most basic necessities to survive. The damage extends to commercial facilities, schools, roads, and farmland, with large sections of Gaza’s population now displaced and living in tents or overcrowded shelters.

Muslim Charity has been actively responding to this unprecedented humanitarian crisis. We have worked to provide emergency food parcels, clean water and medical aid to those in need. Our teams on the ground are working tirelessly to reach the most vulnerable communities, delivering life-saving assistance where it is needed most.

MUSLIM CHARITY
INTERVENTION

Muslim Charity has been working in Gaza since 2013, we have previously partnered with UNRWA which has given us unparalleled access to Gaza whenever there has been an emergency. Currently, we are working in close partnership with UN agencies and international NGOs (INGOs) that have established operations in the region.

Over the years we have provided medical aid and equipment including a fully equipped ambulance to hospitals in Gaza, we continue to provide and distribute purified water safe for human consumption through water tankers as Prophet Muhammad (saw) was once asked, “Which charity is best?” and his reply was “Providing water”. [Ibn Majah]

We have delivered more than 7,600 family food packs to nourish struggling families and distributed 58,350 cooked hot meals, offering warmth and comfort during these challenging times. Our efforts have also brought over 1 million litres of clean water to Gaza, addressing 79,534 instances of need and providing essential hydration to communities facing severe water shortages. Additionally, our medical interventions have been sufficient to cater for 210,000 instances of need by the delivery of life-saving medical aid and equipment to hospitals.
