Karachi Transformation: Vocational Training for Juvenile Inmates

In Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, young children often fall victim to crime due to poverty and lack of guidance. Recognising this harsh reality, Muslim Charity has initiated a Vocational Training & Rehabilitation Programme for Juvenile Inmates, aiming to provide these youth with skills, guidance and a pathway out of the criminal world. This initiative not only addresses crime at its roots but also ties into our broader “Children of the World” campaign, dedicated to rescuing and empowering vulnerable children globally.

Core Objective: Addressing the Real Cause of Crime

This programme focuses on offering practical solutions to combat the cycle of poverty and crime. By providing vocational training in computer hardware, software, and fine arts, we equip these young individuals with federal-certified skills that open doors to new opportunities. Additionally, psychotherapists and sports coaches are on hand to play a crucial role in channeling their energies positively.

Our efforts in Karachi resonate deeply with our Children of the World campaign. By rehabilitating juvenile inmates, we prevent them from becoming street-involved youth, thus aligning with our commitment to protecting and uplifting children in adverse situations.
