The tour is designed to give you full access to the projects on the ground and an opportunity to ask questions as well as play an active part in delivering this important work.
The 7-day tour will include:
– Aid distributions in Arsal and Ketermaya refugee camps
– Supporting vulnerable and orphan children
– Food packs
– Winter aid, shelters, clothing , heaters
– Children’s gifts
The tour will give participants an opportunity to work alongside the ground team in distributing aid in the Arsal refugee camp, visiting and supporting a school and meeting orphans that we sponsor as part of the tour.
THE CAUSE
The Syrian civil war has resulted in conflict and violence. Millions of innocent people have been caught up in a fight that is not their own, causing devastating consequences and changing blameless lives forever. The most vulnerable members of society are at the greatest risk women, children, and the elderly.
The ongoing crisis has left millions of Syrians with no choice but to flee their families and their homes, with millions more displaced and left to fend for their lives. Since the onset of the Syrian civil in March 2011, over one million Syrian refugees have fled to Lebanon.
Muslim Charity has been active on the ground in Lebanon since the conflict started. We have supported Syrian refugees through emergency food, medical aid, supporting orphans and widows as well as schools and hospitals.

COVID-19 Protocols
As of 20/09/21
All passengers (apart from children under the age of 12 and members of UNIFIL) will be required to take a PCR test at Beirut International Airport on arrival, which is provided at the airline’s expense.
If you are travelling to Lebanon, you are required to take a PCR test at a laboratory certified by local authorities 96 hours before you travel, and to show the result, which must include a QR code, at check-in at your departure airport. If you do not have a negative PCR test result with a QR code within this time frame and in an approved form (paper or email, not SMS), you will not be allowed to board your flight to Lebanon. PCR tests issued from US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan and all European countries (including the UK) are accepted without QR codes.
Passengers who can prove:
- that they have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or one complete dose, if the vaccine is made up of only one dose) at least 2 weeks before departure to Lebanon, or
- that they have had and recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days prior to travel, or
- that they have travelled out of Lebanon and returned within one week are exempt from taking a pre-departure PCR test. Children under the age of 12 are also exempt.
You should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to another country. You should arrange to take a private test.
The Lebanese government is keeping these measures under review and they may change at short notice. You must comply with any amended regulations for testing and self-isolation. You should check with your airline and the Embassy of Lebanon in the country you are travelling from before travel.
